Colombo, July 28- The iconic Blue & Gold Hockev Sevens is back in full force for its 20th

edition, promising to deliver the biggest and most exciting chapter yet in Sri Lanka's school

hockey history. Scheduled for August 8th and 9th, 2025, the tournament will be played at the

Royal College Grounds, bringing together 70 school teams, 40 boys' and 30 girls' teams, from

across the island.

Organized by Royal College in collaboration with the Royal College Hockey Ciub (RCHC),

the tournament continues its proud tradition of excellence, competition, and sportsnanship.

With ESOFT Metro Campus returning as the Title Sponsor for the third consecutive year, the

tournament will be officially titled the ESU Blue & Gold Hockey 7s - 2025.

This year's edition is truly historic, not only for marking two decades of school bockey

excellence, but also for introducing a series of groundbreaking firsts never before seen in Sri

Lankan school sports.
