The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry
and Entrepreneurship Development, announced today that it will host "Sri Lanka Expo 2026," a
landmark international exhibition scheduled from 18th to 21st June 2026 at the Bandaranaike
Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
This major trade event marks the return of Sri Lanka Expo after a 14-year hiatus, with the last
edition held in 2012. The exposition will serve as a premier global platform to showcase Sri
Lanka's diverse industries, products. services, and investment opportunities to the international
business community.
Strategic Vision for Economic Growth
Leveraging Sri Lanka's strategic location at the crossroads of global shipping routes, linking Asia,
Europe, and the Middle East, Sri Lanka Expo 2026 aligns with the government's vision to
strengthen the nation's economic foundation by increasing exports and attracting foreign
investments. The event supports the ambitious national export target of achieving USD 36 billion
in export revenue by 2030.

and investment in South Asia," said Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe, Chairman & CEO of the Sri Lanka
Export Development Board. "This exhibition represents a significant milestone in our journey to
